Fractional product leadership in general.
- What is a fractional CPO?
- A Chief Product Officer who works with you part-time. Same accountability for product decisions, smaller piece of the week. Common for early-stage and zero-to-one teams that need someone owning the product seat but can’t (or shouldn’t) hire full-time yet. The work spans strategy, roadmap, hiring, and the day-to-day calls that compound.
- When should I hire a fractional CPO?
- When the product seat is the bottleneck and full-time is the wrong scale. Three common moments: pre-product-market-fit, when you need someone to figure out what to build before you hire a team to build it; post-traction, when you have signal but no product function; and during a re-org or pivot, when the team needs an experienced operator to land the change without permanently adding to headcount.
- How is fractional different from advisory?
- Advisors give you frameworks and warm intros. Fractional CPOs own the outcome. I’m in your roadmap calls, your sprint reviews, your hiring loops. Advisory is “here’s how I’d think about it.” Fractional is “I’ll go do it with you.”
- How does pricing typically work?
- Day rates or monthly retainers, usually pegged to a number of days per week. My engagements run a fixed monthly retainer with a clear scope and an exit ramp set at week one. Training and AI development sessions are priced separately — see those pages.

How I specifically work.
- Why work with you specifically?
- I’ve been a founder, a Head of Product, and an in-house operator across consumer and B2B. I’ve also built two agencies, one acquired. So I show up with the muscle to build, not just the vocabulary to discuss. I’m based in Europe, work across timezones, and I’ll tell you when the right answer is someone else.
- What stages of company do you take on?
- Idea, zero-to-one, traction, and the bit just past where founders start dropping things. I avoid stages where my real contribution would be writing job specs for a full-time CPO — at that point the right answer is to go and hire one.
- What does a typical engagement look like?
- Two to three days a week, three to nine months, with a clear outcome we agree on at week one. I’m in your Slack, your roadmap, your hiring panel. We do a check-in at month two — if the shape isn’t right, we cut it.
- How do you approach AI in product work?
- Sparingly and on purpose. AI is a tool — sometimes it’s the right tool, often it isn’t. I use it to validate fast (prototypes, fake-doors, scrappy MVPs) and to automate the parts of product work that don’t need human judgment. The rest stays human.
- You’re in Wrocław — how does that work for clients elsewhere?
- Most of my clients are in the US and UK. I work in CET, which overlaps both. I travel for kickoffs and quarterly cycles. Most of the day-to-day happens async over Slack and Loom, with focused sync calls when they actually move things.
